7-25 CVS Visits 97% Savings!!!

Monday, July 26, 2010

Yesterday was one of the busiest days. Between church, lunch, pet sitting, cleaning, packing DH for a trip, picking up his rental car, packing it, a late dinner and all the other things that go on with a Sunday/weekend day; it was amazing that I was even able to pop into a CVS to get any good deals! And I did it not once, but twice. The first time I was there I was quick because I had a list. But I did see that several things were in the clearance. So the next time I was home, I picked up my coupon box and went back to the store.  I got an amazing amount of loot in these visits!

Very nice! I see you got the U by Kotex in both transactions. Did you get the ECB for both? It says the limit is one so just womdering if ti was really two?

I have two cards. Not on purpose but I was looking through a drawer the other day and found an old one. Took it to the store and it was still good so why not use it?

So you could use the extra bucks from card #1 for a purchase from card #2?

I didn't use them that way. I don't know that you can. I bought The Aveeno with one card ($10 ECB) and purchased L'Oreal and U by Kotex with the ECBs (earned $9.99 ECB). The other card I purchased L'Oreal and U by Kotex ($9.99 ECB) and used the ECBs to buy the hair dyes and everything else. I could have done the Aveeno deal again on the other card but my CVS was out. So I can go to another CVS to do it.

You'd have to look to see if the ECBs say 'non-transferable' or something like that. If they do, you can't. Or, just experiment with it to see if you can interchange ECBs. That's be so much easier than trying to keep track of which go with which. I keep the cards separate in my wallet with their ECBs wrapped around them.
